I have a 1998 OX66 250. As far as fogging the motor, I've never done it and never had a problem. The OX66 EFI system was used in saltwater series II AND V-Max outboards. Outboard motors are self draining.

There's plenty of good info here on those motors. There are some DIY maintenance items that must be done and then they're bulletproof.
